After reading The Tyger by William Blake, take a moment to reflect on the idea of creation. What do you believe is the most beautiful creation in the world—natural or man-made—and why? Describe it in detail and explain what makes it so awe-inspiring to you.

 Having read "The Tyger", I couldn't help but think about how intense and detailed creation is, and there is one animal that particularly comes to mind for me, which is the butterfly. It's amazing how something that begins as such a small caterpillar can transform entirely into this beautiful, delicate creature that just hovers around in the air. The designs on their wings are so intricate, it's like someone painted them by hand. It's not only how beautiful they appear, it's the entire process of becoming a butterfly that leaves me breathless. It's as if nature's way of telling us that change can be beautiful.

"Two Kinds"

 Today, we finished reading "Two Kinds" from The Joy Luck Club.  In doing this activity, I learned about the competitiveness within Asian immigrant families, but I also learned how that characteristic can apply to other cultures as well. I liked this activity because I think the book is enjoyable and gives great perspective, in particular with this part of the book, it shows how pressure and demands of an immigrant family may affect a child's way of thinking. On Friday, my family and I will be leaving for the beach, but I'm not very excited about it as we have visited the beach plenty of times before. Instead, I've been quite reminiscent of the concert I went to last week, I've been looking back at the videos I took and wishing I could still be experiencing euphoria.

Write about a song that brings back a specific memory.

 A song that brings back a specific memory is Tornado of Souls by Megadeth. This song reminds me of the time I saw the ban play live back in August of this year. I remember an overwhelming rush of adrenaline hitting me once they played the first few notes of that very song. Though my memory of that whole concert is blurry, I know that it's blurred by the immense sense of joy I felt at the time. Truly a series of irreplaceable moments.
